LUCKY LEO

1. Run and jump: A D to walk, Space to jump. Hold Shift to run.◀ ▶ to walk, A to jump, hold B to run. 🎮 A jumps, X runs. Hold jump to go higher!
2. Stomp the goblins. Stomp a snail and kick its shell to knock out a whole row! Or hold run as you walk into a shell to pick it up, and let go to throw it. Springs can be carried the same way: move them wherever you need a big bounce! Ground pound onto a spring for a super bounce way up into the sky! Don't stomp the spiky hedgehogs… unless you ground pound them. An extra power-up waits in the box at the top: tap it (or press E · 🎮 LB) to drop it when you need it.
3. 🎩 Get the magic hat (Leo's hat turns purple with a gold star) and you can throw your hat (J · 🎮 Y · 🎩 button) to knock out enemies and grab coins. It comes back like a boomerang, and you can bounce off it in mid-air: throw it, keep holding the hat button so it hovers, then jump and land on it (hold jump to bounce higher, then spin for a little more)! Get hit and the magic is gone. Aim it any way you like: push the stick (🎮) or hold two directions together (W D for a slant▲ ▶ for a slant) to throw it up, sideways, on a slant, or down from the air; straight up bumps blocks, and crouching throws it low at little enemies.
4. 🦄 Shamrock the unicorn: hit the special block and a cloud shines a rainbow down, and there he is! Hop on! Jump higher, hold jump to float, stomp even the spiky hedgehogs and snapping plants, trot right over spikes, press run and he opens wide and gulps down the enemy in front of him (after three… watch your step!). Grab a rainbow prism (from a ☘️ block while riding) and run fires a rainbow laser from his eyes instead. If you get hit you just fall off: catch him again! To hop off, press F · 🎮 hold LT and press A · hold ▼ and tap A.
5. ⬇️ Ground pound: press S▼ (🎮 LT) in the air. High jump: hold S▼ (🎮 LT) and jump for a big backflip. 🌀 Spin: press jump again in the air to twirl a little higher (once a jump). 🧱 Wall kick: jump into a wall and hold towards it to slide down, then press jump to kick off it. Kick back and forth between two walls to climb up!
6. 👑 King Grumbles can be stomped, or hit with a thrown shell, rainbow sparks, the magic hat, Shamrock's laser or the horseshoe's rainbow power.
7. Bump the ☘️ blocks from below: a four-leaf clover makes Leo big, a rainbow flower lets him throw rainbow sparks (ShiftB button · 🎮 X), and a lucky horseshoe makes him unstoppable. Now and then there's a rainbow-striped block: bump it and a really long rainbow grows up into the sky. Jump on it to ride up to a secret place above the clouds, full of power-ups and coins, with a rainbow gem!
8. 🗺️ The map is the whole United States, in nine worlds: New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the Atlantic South, the Music South, the Great Lakes, the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, the Southwest and the Pacific. Press M · 🎮 X · the 🗺️ button, or pinch to zoom out and see it all. Worlds you haven't reached yet are grey, and 🚧 signposts mark levels still being built. Win a level and you'll learn a bit of history about the place: win it again for a new fact!
9. 🌊 Water won't hurt Leo: he swims! Press jump to paddle up, and jump at the surface to leap out. In Cranberry Bog the squishy bog mats sink under your feet… and one of them goes all the way down. 🐸
10. Grab gold coins (100 = an extra life) and the 5 rainbow gems hidden in every level.
11. Break the rainbow tape at the end. The higher you hit it, the more stars! Somewhere there's a golden key to a secret level… and a secret exit for anyone who can find another way to the end. 🤫
